MANIFESTAÇÕES ORAIS DA COVID-19
REVISÃO DE LITERATURA

O objetivo desse estudo é realizar uma revisão de literatura sobre as principais manifestações orais da COVID-19 na cavidade oral. Para isso, foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico, a partir da utilização dos descritores (1) Pathology, Oral e (2) COVID-19. Foi observado ao fim desse estudo que a COVID-19 é uma doença ainda recente, dessa forma, não é possível afirmar se as manifestações orais estão associadas diretamente à infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2 ou são consequência do tratamento, mas fica claro que a ocorrência de alterações de paladar, úlceras, bolhas, erosões, máculas e petéquias são achados comuns nesse grupo de pacientes.
