AWARENESS OF WORKERS/HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FOR HUMANIZED WELCOME TO FAMILIES WITH MANAGEMENT AND NEONATAL LOSSES
Abstract
This work aims to sensitize society and health workers/professionals at Maternidade Escola Santa
Mônica, in the city of Maceió-AL, regarding the importance of humanized care for families in situations of
pregnancy and/or neonatal loss through the October Campaign Blue and Pink - Awareness Month for
Gestational and Neonatal Losses. Discussions on the subject were encouraged and collective practices were
presented to be adopted by the institution/team for better assistance in these cases. To this end, several
actions were carried out that provided opportunities for society and health workers/professionals at
Maternidade Escola Santa Mônica and other institutions, to be sensitized about the importance of humanized
care for families with pregnancy and neonatal losses, fostering discussions on the theme reflection on the
daily practice of work, thus enabling an improvement in assistance to users of the service.
