SELECTION OF INFARCTS FROM A SUS REFERENCE SERVICE
REPORT OF EXPERIENCE OF THE ALAGOAS CENTER IN THE DICA-NUTS STUDY
Abstract
The present study reports the experience of the Collaborating Center of Alagoas in the multicenter
study DICANUTS in the process of pre-screening infarcted patients coming from a state reference service.
The sample consisted of 1078 patients from May 2019 to August 2020, to be submitted to further recruitment
and screening. In this process, the main reason for the non-inclusion was the patient's municipality of origin
(n=525; 48.7%), because those who are more distant from the capital would have greater difficulty to attend
appointments and exams. Only 35% of the sample (n=378) were eligible for screening in the study.
