Abstract

Objective: To map the process of producing mental health care through group activities with Integrative and Complementary Practices and the creation of maps inspired by Deligny with people in a situation of incarceration in a context of deprivation of liberty in the Northeast of Brazil. Methods: It is a qualitative approach based on cartography using the theoretical-methodological framework of Deleuze and Guattari and the creation of maps inspired by Deligny. The data was collected through participant observation and interview-conversations, with detailed records through field diaries and the production of maps in a group collective. Seven incarcerated men were mapped. Results: There was evidence of the production of mental health care with Integrative and Complementary Practices that could be used in prison, based on the production of subjectivity and the existential territories presented and constituted during the meetings. Final considerations: It is important to show ways in which care based on psychosocial support can be provided to strengthen the protagonism of the people for whom it is intended, so that it is in line with the precepts of the psychiatric reform. This text is the result of the stricto sensu postgraduate program Professional Master's Degree in Family Health (PROFSAÚDE).
