A Fundação Ford e o Departamento de Estado Norte-Americano: a montagem de um modelo de operações no pós-guerra

Resumo

Neste artigo, demonstraremos que o relacionamento estabelecido entre a Fundação Ford e o Departamento de Estado, bem como com a Agência Central de Inteligência (CIA), constituiu-se em aspecto definidor e estruturante, ainda que secreto ou sigiloso, da atuação dessa organização filantrópica e destes órgãos de governo quanto a políticas de inteligência e propaganda. Reconstruiremos documentalmente a tessitura dos acordos tal como se deram no momento de seu estabelecimento, na emergência da Guerra Fria.
