O PAPEL DO TNF-α NO DESENVOLVIMENTO DE DOENÇAS PSIQUIÁTRICAS
UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
Resumo
Este trabalho tem por objetivo realizar uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre o papel do fator de necrose tumoral no desenvolvimento de doenças psiquiátricas. Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da literatura realizada no SciELO, PubMed, Science Direct e MEDLINE. Os Descritores em Ciências da Saúde utilizados para as buscas foram: (TNF) (dependence) (“psychiatric disease or psychiatric disorders”). Foram totalizados 11 artigos para compor a amostra final deste estudo. Os estudos apontaram que as desordens psiquiátricas estão associadas a altas concentrações do fator de necrose tumoral, sendo moduladas a partir da exposição a substâncias inflamatórias, como por exemplo, o consumo de álcool e de outras drogas. Portanto, a literatura evidenciou que os níveis elevados de TNF-α possuem correlação significativa com transtornos mentais, sendo desencadeado pela produção de fatores exógenos, como o consumo de álcool.
