his paper go into an extensionist experience that stems from one of the pilot projects which aimed the implementation of the offer and accreditation of curricular extension action (CEA) in social work bachelor degree. The activities and extension results obtained during the ground fieldwork that took place between september and december 2019 (second half of 2019) and carried out by the first team of night shift undergraduates enrolled in the 2nd social work graduation period in the CEA curricular component are described. The activities took place in a municipal school on the periphery of the capital of Alagoas, meeting the demands of great social relevance through interaction with one (01) class of the second segment of education for young, adults and elderly (EYAE) in the 6th phase of elementary school. This first CEA incursion aimed to: providing opportunities for the exchange of knowledge through active learning obtained through the resolution real life problems and through the proposition/development of didactic tools, promoting interaction between young people (university students and EYAE students - both groups made by working class students) whose life history is quite similar so that, mediated by the school and the main idea of professionalization, they could learn it together. The legacy of this experience was tailored by the collective effort around the different stages of learning/training to qualify the relationship between the professional praxis in the areas of social work and popular education with the necessary responses toward the demands that come from the teaching of young people and adults whose face various situations of social vulnerability.
