MAPPING OF THE ADVERTISING PROCESS FOR AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS AT PROEXC/UFAL

Abstract

The research is part of a master's degree proposal that aims to outline the current mapping of the public notice process for granting scholarships at the Dean of Extension and Culture (Proexc) at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). It focuses on improving existing routines in relation to notices, but also mapping flows, which is currently carried out informally and most of the decision-making process is passed on verbally. Business Process Management (BPM) was applied as a modeling and execution tool for structuring procedural flows. With the data collected, it was possible to present a proposition on the application of some changes in the procedural mapping, bringing an improvement to these flows, which is presented by the flowchart based on the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) model. This flowchart demonstrates step                                                             by step the procedures for mapping Proexc's bidding processes. Thus, the main contribution of the work is organizational, as it provides an improvement in the execution of activities aimed at the public served.
