GENERAL PRESENTATION OF THE JOURNAL AND ITS GENERAL ANTI-PLAGIARISM POLICY
Basic conditions for constructing and submitting a text to the Electronic Journal:
As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify the submission's compliance with all items listed below. Submissions that do not comply with the rules will be returned to the authors. The following conditions must be verified before submitting the text:
1- The contribution must be original and unpublished, and not under evaluation for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the Editor".
2- The files for submission must be in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format (as long as they do not exceed 2MB)
3- URLs for references to be provided when necessary.
4- The text must be in 1.5 spacing; use a 12-point font; use italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); Figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document or in attachments.
5-The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, in the Templates and About the Journal sections, and
6-The identification of the author of the work is removed from the file and from the Properties option in Word, thus ensuring the journal's confidentiality criteria, if submitted for peer review (e.g.: articles), according to the instructions available in Ensuring Blind Peer Review.
General elements of the anti-plagiarism policy - declaratory
By means of a declaration, authors, when submitting texts, must attach their declaration of originality in relation to the contents addressed in each production intended to be published in this journal. The aforementioned DECLARATION is one of the procedures of the Journal's anti-plagiarism policy.
The main text of the submission will not be accepted for possible publication without the submission of the anti-plagiarism declaration, which must also be sent at the time of submission of the intended main text.

How to submit an article to the journal "Extension in Debate Magazine?"
Articles are texts that present results of analysis or reflection on issues related to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, in any area of knowledge. Therefore, it must be a text originating from scientific work that aims to contemplate the application of knowledge generated by academia in society.
The texts to be published in this section of the journal must be linked to at least one of the eight (08) thematic areas of Extension.
The text should contain: Title (in Portuguese, English, and Spanish); Abstract (in Portuguese, English, and Spanish); Introduction; Theoretical Foundation; Methodology; Results and Discussions; Final Considerations; References (according to the current standard of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards – ABNT NBR 15906:2021)
During the submission process, two (02) versions of the text must be sent: one WITHOUT and another WITH author identification

Limit: up to five (05) authors, except advisors.
The text structure should be:
A) Document in Microsoft Word format (.doc), A4 size, with top and left margins of 3 cm and bottom and right margins of 2 cm, Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 cm spacing, no space between paragraphs;
B) Three to five keywords separated by periods;
C) The file should contain between 10 and 18 pages, including bibliographic references (according to the current standard of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards – ABNT);
D) Works with tables, graphs, photos, images of any kind, or mathematical and chemical formulas should insert them in image format, file extension .jpg or .jpeg, maximum size of each file 5Mb;
E) All figures, images, or illustrations inserted in the text must contain the title or caption above the image, in Times New Roman font, size 10. Below, the source of the image must be stated, with font size 10.
How to submit an experience report in extension activity in the Extension in Debate Journal?
The extension experience report is a textual category of narrative, descriptive and reflective character, which seeks to describe relevant/significant experiences that contribute to different areas of knowledge. In this section of the Journal, reports of extension actions already experienced by the proponents will be published.
During the submission process, 02 (TWO) text versions must be sent: one SEM and the other with authorship identification(s).

The report must be linked to at least one of the 08 (eight) thematic areas of Extension. And contain the following information in the structure:

07 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PRACTICE AND THE CONCEPTS OF EXTENSION
The text should contain: Abstract (with keywords); Introduction; Development;
Methodology; Discussion; Considerations; References.
Authorship limit: up to 05 (five) authors, except for advisors.
The textual structure must include:
a) Document in Microsoft Word (.doc) format, A4 format, with top and left margins of 3 cm and bottom and right margins of 2 cm, Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 cm spacing, without space between paragraphs;
(b)three to five keywords separated by a period;
c) The file must contain between 8 and 15 pages, including bibliographic references (according to the current standard of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards – ABNT NBR 15906:2021);
d) It will be allowed to include tables, graphs, photos, images of any genre, file extension .jpg or .jpeg, maximum size of each file of 5Mb;
(e)it must contain a title; Images; OBSERVE ETHICAL ISSUES, such as exposure of names, images and experiences of people.
How to submit an expanded abstract in the Extension in Debate Journal?
The expanded summary is characterized as a document, whose ideas contained in it can be understood in the shortest possible time. To do so, it requires subtlety and can be more laborious than a complete scientific work. This is not just an elongated summary. They should include objectives, methodologies, references, comparisons with related works and other details expected in a document that should be disseminated to the academic community. In its elaboration, some subjects may be omitted, such as details described in essays, descriptions of future work, institutional information that is not relevant to the work, among others. In summary, the expanded abstracts submitted to this journal must be related to the scope of the Journal. And have, in the total text, up to 06 (SIX) pages, including bibliographic references.
