Abstract

The principles of Kantian pedagogy are deeply rooted in educational thinking. Although many educators and philosophers did not fully embrace their pedagogical conception, the principles and notions served on a large scale as a toolbox for different names such as Piaget, Kohlberg, Adorno, Habermas, etc. In this sense, Kantian pedagogy is a source of inexhaustible revisiting and critical reflection. The relationship between education and autonomy in Kant is the foundation of educational thinking in modern times. In view of the critique of modern values established by postmodernity, it is necessary to analyze this relationship in Kant's pedagogical conception, its articulation and foundations.
