The objective of this research was to understand how the professionals of the Child and Adolescent Protection Network of a small municipality in Santa Catarina (SC) construct representations of subjects from the referrals made to the psychological clinic of the Unified Health System (SUS) ), as justification for the family conflict complaint. Interviews were conducted with five professionals of the Network, and through cultural analysis supported in the field of Cultural Studies, two categories of subject representation were listed: the subject characterized by a delayed development by the conflicting family; and the subject of the guarantee of Rights. It is these two represented subjects who become targets of medical procedures, referred to the specialized clinic in order to reestablish the family balance.Downloads
