This work aims to analyze and describe how gender stereotypes, differences and inequalities appear in the occupation of public positions by women in administrative technician positions at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology - Campus Lagarto, in the years 2019 to 2021. The descriptive qualitative research is supported by bibliographic and documentary sources. 37 men and 23 women were identified in the positions, observing asymmetries/prevalence of men compared to women. The high level of education of women and the entry of women into “masculine” organizational environments is accompanied by the possibility of their ascension to technical public positions.Downloads
