Abstract

: In recent decades, Information Science has seen significant changes in relation to the influences that technologies provide in the means of communication and dissemination of information, through automated systems. This moment is also inserted in the characteristics of Rafael Capurro's physical paradigm, whose bases are marked by the bias of information retrieval and technological advances. In this way, we emphasize that this paradigm has been inserted and incorporated into studies in different areas, especially in Bibliometrics, which is in charge of measuring the impact or identification and analysis of scientific productions. Thus, our objective was to analyze the scientific productions of the Proceedings of ENANCIB Working Group 7 in the period from 2014 to 2019, focusing on studies with the Bibliometrics theme. It deals with a bibliographic research, of descriptive type. Consequently, quantitative, as we use the quantification and organization of data to give higher quality to bibliometric studies, through the use of the percentage for the recovered works. We analyzed the titles, abstracts and keywords of the papers presented. The data showed that the approach to bibliometric studies in the titles is still very small, revealing that few researchers are emphasizing this indicator, on the other hand, in the keywords and especially in the abstracts, we observed a significant number. We conclude that there is a need to emphasize the term "bibliometry" and its derivatives in the significant parts (titles, abstracts, keywords) to provide better information retrieval and more visibility for metric studies in Information Science.
