DISFUNÇÕES SEXUAIS INDUZIDAS PELO USO DE SUBSTÂNCIAS PSICOATIVAS: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

A atividade sexual é um aspecto natural e complexo, influenciada por vários fatores do comportamento humano. Perturbações nesse processo podem resultar em disfunções sexuais (DS). As DS proporcionam uma insatisfação na vida sexual e se agravam com o uso de substâncias psicoativas. Com o objetivo de avaliar a frequência de disfunções sexuais associadas ao uso de substâncias psicoativas, foi realizado uma revisão integrativa da literatura, desenvolvida em 9 etapas. Para pesquisa de estudos nas bases de dados em saúde Scopus, Pubmed, Scienc Direct e Web Of Sciente foram utilizados os descritores Sex Disorders; Sexual Disorders; Sexual Dysfunctions; human sexual response; psychoactive substances. 154 artigos resultaram da estratégia de busca utilizada, dos quais 6 atenderam todos os critérios para esta revisão. 9 disfunções sexuais e 7 substâncias psicoativas emergiram da análise dos estudos. O álcool foi a mais prevalente, levando a disfunção erétil nos homens e a anorgasmia nas mulheres. É possível afirmar que é frequente a apresentação de disfunções sexuais associadas ao uso de substâncias psicoativas.
