COLLECTIONS, MEMORIES AND WRITINGS FROM LGBTQIAPN+ STRUGGLES IN ALAGOAS: THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL PATHS

Abstract: In this text I explore my theoretical-methodological trajectory in the development of the project “Collections, affections and memories: LGBTQIAPN+ struggles in Alagoas”, carried out, since 2022, within the scope of the activities of the Study and Research Group in History, Gender and Sexuality (GEPHGS), from the History Course, at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). The project, coordinated in partnership with Marcelo Nascimento and Cintia Ribeiro, has as its main objective to research, record, preserve and publicize collections, memories, and trajectories of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans people, transvestites, queers, intersex, asexuals, pansexual, and non-binary people from Alagoas in the last decades of the 20th century and the first decades of the 21st century. This text records, above all, the work undertaken in the production of the book “Pride LGBTQIAPN+!”.
