O Capital Social na Teoria das Redes Sociais

O conceito de capital social tem sido utilizado por influência da Sociologia norte-americana para sublinhar a importância das redes sociais informais na construção das relações sociais e de formas de sociabilidade, que têm por base interesses pessoais e coletivos. Este artigo apresenta uma construção do conceito de capital social a partir da perspectiva de autores como Bourdieu, Portes, Coleman, Putnam e Granovetter. No decurso do artigo podem ser lidos os contributos dos autores para a construção do conceito de capital social e a forma como ele pode ser aplicado na teoria das redes sociais.
