Abstract

ABSTRACT:

This essay discusses the theoretical foundations that supported the experience report of the Research Methodology discipline Applied to Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health, prioritizing the use of active teaching-learning methodologies that are primarily used in the teaching of courses in the area of health. In the process of scientific investigation, a discipline of scientific methodology should allow highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the studies and related publications. Considering the timeline, evaluate the dissemination and quality of research in each graduate program. In the production of their research and in the pedagogical aspects of writing for academic linguistic practices. We emphasize the alignment of ideas with regard to the conception of learning, taking as references the research with the population of Alagoas and with wide dissemination. When “applied” the Methodology goes beyond theoretical knowledge and the study becomes part of the solution.

Full Professor I at Centro Universitário Tiradentes (UNIT-AL) and also Full Professor III at Centro Universitário CESMAC, (FEJAL), Brazil. Permanent Professor of the Graduate Program in Medical Sciences at the Federal University of Alagoas. He has experience in the areas of Pediatrics and Neonatology. It has a research group on the following topics: perinatal health, teenage pregnancy, birth weight and anemia in childhood.-

Ana Maria Cavalcante Melo, UFAL

He holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Alagoas (1983) and a Master's degree in Child and Adolescent Health from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2009). She is currently a pediatrician at the Federal University of Alagoas. She has experience in the area of Medicine, with an emphasis on Maternal and Child Health, working mainly on the following topics: perinatology, premature care, obstetrics, very low birth weight and humanization-kangaroo method, maternal vulnerability to drugs.
