Abstract

In this study, the objective was to evaluate student learning in Calculus classes applied to Agricultural Sciences, using mathematical models and computational tools, through an assessment of students' perception of aspects related to the use of software as a learning tool. in mathematics subjects. To this end, a survey was carried out with students, aiming to understand their perceptions and difficulties in relation to the use of polynomial, exponential and logarithmic mathematical models. The analysis of collected data allowed us to explore in more depth the effectiveness of the pedagogical approaches adopted. Furthermore, a graphical exploration was carried out that facilitated the visualization and interpretation of the results, contributing to more meaningful learning. The results indicated that the integration of computational tools with mathematical models not only enriches the teaching-learning process, but also motivates students to engage more actively in the proposed activities.
