The Toxicological Information Center Program at UFAL aims to disseminate toxicological information and popularize science through health education. Before COVID-19, the successful initiative was "CITox in Schools," with in-person activities takin
g place in the educational network of Maceió, AL. However, with the need for social distancing, activities shifted to remote formats, necessitating an adaptation of CITox-UFAL's approach. The "I CITox Live Cycle" was promoted, involving extension students and those from Basic Toxicology and Clinical Toxicology courses in Pharmacy, pharmacists, communicators, @citoxufal followers, and guest speakers. The event's objectives were to disseminate toxicological information to society, promote the popularization of science, reduce cases of exogenous intoxication, and exchange knowledge about toxicological analyses with society, ensuring a successful impact.
