HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES AS A MONITORING TOOL FOR INDICATORS 6 AND 7 OF THE PREVINE BRASIL PROGRAM IN A MUNICIPALITY IN RURAL ALAGOAS

Abstract

Primary health care is considered the user's gateway to the public health system, and it is essential that there is health promotion and the inclusion of technologies that enable improved care for the user. The present work aims to report the experience of including technologies as an instrument for monitoring indicators 6 and 7 of the Previne Brasil Program in a basic health unit located in a municipality in rural Alagoas. Descriptive study, experience report type, about the experiences implemented with soft, soft-hard and hard technologies with users with diabetes and hypertension in PHC. The actions were developed in a multi-professional and inter-sectoral way by students from the Federal University of Alagoas, Arapiraca campus and the Municipal Health Department. Permanent education activities, joint home visits, joint efforts at the health unit's headquarters were developed, with the inclusion of technologies that made it possible to achieve the goals recommended by the program established by the Federal Government. In this way, the inclusion of health technologies in PHC made it possible to achieve indicators 6 and 7 of Previne Brasil. Furthermore, the integration of these technologies offered strategies to improve care practices in the context of care for patients with hypertension and diabetes in PHC.
