This text highlights the importance of biodiversity in the current context and explores the educational potential of infographics as a tool to promote understanding of this topic. Knowledge about biodiversity is crucial in the face of environmental challenges, offering conditions for students to build a reflective perspective on caring for the ecosystem. The use of technology in education is highlighted as an innovative approach to making learning more engaging and interactive. As a methodological path, the topic of biodiversity was introduced, followed by the construction and presentation of infographics with students from two first-year high school classes, on the Canva platform. The results showed a positive impact on the understanding of content and student engagement, through discussion and collaboration. The evaluation of the infographics prioritized accuracy and visual presentation, with feedback from colleagues and the teacher. The challenges of using infographics in biodiversity education are discussed, with an emphasis on ensuring accurate information, in order to make biodiversity accessible to students.
