This work aims to analyze the constitution of the owner subject in the neoliberal discourse of land regularization, from the image extracted from the ceremony of delivery of property titles by the city of Rio de Janeiro, in the year 2017. The first section contains the theoretical assumptions -methodological aspects of Materialist Discourse Analysis, focusing on the approach of the category denomination as an integral part of the process of interpellation of the subject and its consequences for the concept of pre-constructed. The second section contains the analysis of the image mentioned above, based on the notion of the interpellated and pre-constructed subject. Aiming to contribute to an approach that apprehends the figure of interpellation as an image capable of producing evidence. Finally, the third section contains the analysis of the images generated by the Google search engine when we trigger the search for the expression “the dream of owning a home”, of which we will describe the pre-constructed effect in the constitution of the owner subject . With this, the article will contribute to the debates on the interpellation of the subject in the neoliberal capitalist social formation.
