This article aims to analyze the processes of production of meanings involved in the formulation of offenses in the authoritarian political discourse in force in Brazilian politics from 2019 to 2022. Inscribed in the theoretical-methodological framework of materialist discourse analysis, this study has mobilized some concepts, such as discourse, discursive materiality, political discourse, the political, discursive typology, gesture of interpretation, interpellation, identification and resistance, among others. In addition, the offense itself was conceptualized as well as the notion of stone language, understood as rough and hard language in which offenses are produced and circulate. In the formulation of the offense, engendered in that stone language, listening is not a practice. The offense is formulated in order to banish alterity, in its way of conveying meaning to itself and conveying meaning to political ideas.
