Meta-análise de artigos científicos: a abordagem dos propósitos comunicativos no campo das redes sociais

Abstract

This work aims to investigate how communicative purposes are analyzed in scientific articles produced in the field of social networks. We start from the following question: To what extent do analyzes in scientific articles focused on the field of social networks consider the context at the time of consolidation of communicative purposes? Our reflections take as theoretical basis Swales (1990), Askehave and Swales (2001), Bezerra (2002, 2009), Swales (2004), Biasi-Rodrigues and Bezerra (2012), Bawarshi and Reiff (2013), Belini (2014) , Oliveira (2016), Alves Filho (2018) that discuss communicative purposes. Data collection took place through a bibliographic survey, prepared in a virtual way, of 11 scientific articles focused on the field of social networks, with Google Scholar as research support. For research filtering purposes, we used the terms “communicative purpose and social network” and “social function of genres and social networks” for a better targeting of the corpus. The result shows that there is an inclination of studies not to point out communicative purposes and that the textual and textual/contextual approach of communicative purposes have the same occurrence.
