Abstract

The two volumes of Grammatical gender and linguistic complexity, organized by Francesca Di Garbo and Bernhard Wälchli, both researchers at Stockholm University, and Bruno Olsson, researcher at the Australian National University, bring together 15 chapters that discuss various aspects of grammatical gender in several natural languages. Most of the material compiled in the two volumes is the result of the workshop with the same name held between the 20th and 21st of November 2015, by the Department of Linguistics at Stockholm University, in Sweden, with some chapters, however, being aggregated during the volume compilation.
